Turning the subsurface into climate evidence.

DeepSink logs, interprets and models the subsurface so that carbon storage, groundwater and geothermal decisions rest on measured data.

01 / The problem

Climate infrastructure is only as sound as the evidence for the geology, water and energy systems beneath it.

We connect borehole measurements to project decisions, so that a storage site, an aquifer or a geothermal well can be measured, financed and monitored on evidence.

How we work

02 / Capabilities

Technical depth. Project focus.

Five services, led by borehole logging. Basalt, groundwater and geothermal are the settings in which they are applied.
01

Borehole Logging & Interpretation

Wireline logging, petrophysics and core-log integration that turn a borehole into a calibrated record of the formations it crosses.

  • Wireline logging
  • Petrophysical interpretation
  • Core-log integration
  • Geophysical borehole studies
02

Carbon Storage & Climate

Screening, monitoring design and technical evaluation for CO2 storage, stated with the uncertainty a regulator or investor needs to see.

  • CO2 storage screening
  • MRV and monitoring strategy
  • Carbon-credit technical evaluation
  • CCU assessment
03

Subsurface Resources

Resource evaluation for groundwater, basalt and geothermal wells, built on logged and tested data rather than surface inference alone.

  • Groundwater assessment and monitoring
  • Basalt resource assessment
  • Geothermal well evaluation
04

Climate Finance & Infrastructure Support

Independent technical evidence for investment decisions and renewable infrastructure: what the subsurface supports, and how sure that is.

  • Technical due diligence
  • Evidence for investment committees
  • Renewable infrastructure support
05

Training & Curriculum Development

Courses and curricula in borehole logging, interpretation and carbon storage, built so that agency, industry and university teams can do the work themselves.

  • Technical training courses
  • Curriculum development
  • Field and on-the-job training
  • Training of trainers

Field evidence

Read the signals beneath.

A storage or resource decision comes down to a few questions about a few formations: what is there, how continuous it is, and what holds fluids in place. Logs, core and tests answer them directly.

03 / Approach

Evidence that moves decisions.

We translate subsurface behaviour into technical evidence, decision pathways and outputs a project team can act on.

  1. Characterize

Establish the geology, fluids, physical properties and operating context, and state how well each is known.
  2. Model

Connect observations across scales to test behaviour, sensitivity and plausible scenarios.
  3. Decide

Turn results into monitoring plans, investment evidence and clear next steps, with the uncertainty stated.

Featured capability

Basalt is more than rock. It is a reactive storage system.

We evaluate the physical, hydraulic and geochemical characteristics that determine whether a basalt formation can support carbon mineralization, monitoring and long-term storage.

04 / Selected work

Selected work.

The entries below are placeholders that show how case studies are structured. They are replaced as permitted projects are published [VERIFY].
01 / Basalt

Placeholder case study

Basalt carbon storage screening [VERIFY]

Placeholder case study. Screening of a basalt formation for CO2 storage using logged rock properties, a fluid-response framework and a monitoring sensitivity study.

02 / Groundwater

Placeholder case study

Groundwater borehole logging programme [VERIFY]

Placeholder case study. Wireline logging and interpretation across a set of groundwater boreholes to map aquifer intervals and support a monitoring network design.

05 / Methodology and credentials

Stated methods, stated uncertainty.

Every deliverable records the data used, the method applied, the checks made and how sure the result is.

  1. Uncertainty is reported

Results are given as ranges (P90, P50, P10) with the assumptions behind them.
  2. Data is quality-controlled

    [VERIFY: QC procedure]
Logs are depth-matched, corrected and checked against core before interpretation.
  3. Work is reviewed

    [VERIFY: review process]
Interpretations are checked by a second qualified reviewer before release.
